Wolves Vs. Rivermen

Hello sports fans! This past Friday my Chicago Wolves, American Hockey League, had their third pre-game at Hoffman Estates Ice arena at 7 p.m. and I went with my boyfriend. Additionally, I saw all of my "Hockey Family" and my dad's friends as well. To to honest, the best feeling in the world is knowing that your favorite sport or sports will be starting up and you know to expect lots of highs and lows. I came in my decked out hockey jersey and blue jean purse that Kurtis Foster and Brian M., both former Wolves players, signed. The fights, aggression, and everything that hockey fans love came at me on Friday night and I loved every minute of it. However, in the end, our goalie, who was with us for a couple games last season, let in a couple extra goals that were questionable. The Chicago Wolves ended up losing 4 to 2, but that is why it is called "Pre-Season", to basically get out all of the kinks in the system before the "real" season starts. Nevertheless, I salute my Wolves for giving it a good A+ effort and keep on keeping on.

Ticket Pick-up Party

Hello sports fans! Last night was a very special night because it was when my family, close friend, and myself picked up our season tickets for the Chicago Wolves at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL. Yes, I met a close friend at Addison, which is stop on the blue line and we went together. Funny thing is we ended up being an hour late, but what can you do; life isn't perfect. During this ticket- pickup event, I saw various members from my "Hockey Family" and the new boys (players). It was a very nice event and finally our pre-game is coming up Friday at Hoffman Estates, IL, which is where the Wolves practice anyway.

- Question: What is the first action you do when you haven't seen someone, aka a friend/ sports fan, in a while?
-Do you run to them and give them a huge hug?

Hello sports fans! My love for writing has taken on another level. As it turns out and I plan on keep on keeping on, my second article was published in my college newspaper, which is the Roosevelt University Torch student run newspaper. The first one was about Justin Bieber's new book and the second one was about the NHL lockout. I'm honored to be in this position and completing this blog as well! Bears Win Baby!!

Hey sports fans! Chi-Town what's up? Our Chicago Bears won 34 to 18 against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night. I'm not sure if the game was on Fox, which is Channel 32 in the Chicago area, however I do know that it was on ESPN if you have cable or dish. I didn't watch the game and I'm kind of mad that I didn't because first off we won and number two Tony Romo was sacked by our over powerful Bears. Trying in popular culture, Jessica Simpson, yes, the same one that dumped Nick Lachey, dated Romo for a while during years past and then they ended things for various reasons. Anyways, I loved hearing that Romo was sacked because it is funny. Below is an article about his event in it's entirety:

Entertainment Update

This past Sunday my love Justin Bieber emptied his insides out on stage due to not feeling well, but never the less continued to push through and finished his first show of the new Believe Tour, named after his album that was released in July. I couldn't be more proud of him because he didn't let the temporary illness take over and realized that his devoted Beliebers had been waiting months if not a year for his tour.
