Winter Classic On New Year's Day

Howdy sports fans,

Here is an article that describes how the Hawks' goaltender is getting ready for the Winter Classic coming up and how he feels even more prepared with a team that is ready to back him up.

- Let me know if you have any comments or thoughts. Thanks dedicated readers! :) Have a great night!

Hawks clobber Colorado 5 to 2 Saturday night

Hello sports fans,

Last night my Hawks played away in Colorado verses the Avalanche and the first period was a back-and-forth game as well as rough in terms of how the final score would be. As the two other periods came and gone, my boys ended up dominating 5 to 2 with Patrick Kane getting two goals, especially the game winning empty net goal. It was well deserved victory that pushed my boys up to 50 in the Central Division.

This is my little animal folks! He may be a short hockey player, but you mess with him, it is over for you! I love you Shaw! <3

Bouncing Back

Hello sports fans,

First things first, Merry Christmas to all and I wish the best of health and happiness to each and everyone of you. On Tuesday night, my Hawks suffered an embarrassing loss of 5 to 1 against the Jets. I did watch the entire game, even though it made me want to pull my hair out. However, my boys will bounce back tomorrow night against the Colorado Avalanche; they are playing away at 8 pm on Saturday night only on Comcast Sports Net  or 87.7 FM The Game (if you are in the Chicagoland area that is). LETS GO HAWKS!  Shake off what happened and get right back to it boys!

Hawks Vs. Maple Leafs tonight at the United Center

Hello hockey fans out there,

My awesome Hawks are currently taking on the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight at the United Center in Chicago tonight. With Corey Crawford back and Scott Darling being sent to Rockford (AHL), we have our strong goaltender back. With two periods gone, the Hawks are winning 2 to 0 with Rundblad and Versteeg's goals. Keep up the great work boys and lets finish this game off strong. LETS GO HAWKS!

Thick and Thin

Thick and thin can have tons of meaning in life, but in this case, I am talking about supporting your favorite team.As sports fan, most of us already knows what this means. For those non-sports fans, I will break it down for you.

Supporting your team through thick and thin means:

1) Always having faith no matter what

2) Sporting their gear regardless of the score for the last game

3) Following and reading up on the latest news regarding your team EVERYDAY

4) Associating with fans that follow your team  and engaging in conversations with them as often as possible

6) Yelling at the top of your lungs when they score, even if it means waking up your cranky neighbors. I want to see you be brave yall! Woooooooooooo

7) Watching games at bars and grills DECKED OUT in your teams gear

The reason why I am writing this post is because the Chicago Blackhawks, my boys, have been struggling as of late to win. They lost three in a row, won one, and recently lost last night in a shootout. I, for one, won't give up on them and neither should you. In case you're wondering, the Blackhawks are an NHL hockey team that are based in Chicago,IL.

How do you cope with a losing streak, when it is your favorite team? I would love to hear from you dedicated readers, so feel free to comment below! Thanks as always! :)

Long Time

Hollar sports fans!!! :)

Yes, I know it has been months and I mean literally months since I have been on this blog. I want to try to get back into this and updating you readers on what I am thinking about the latest news regarding sports. How does that sound?

Have a great day folks from Chicago, my city! <3
