Parents and Sports? Good or Bad Combination?

Hello sports fans! :) Today's post will be about parents and sports. When you think of parents coaching their child's sports team ,whether it be baseball or football, how do you see it? Well, I see it as a way for a child and parent to share quality time together while being involved in something that peaks an interest for both parties. However, on the opposite end of the spectrum, it can get too competitive and in fact it can be a lethal combination because parents always want their children to succeed in life; that doesn't mean that it can't get a bit over the top. How can we avoid a situation in which parents can observe safely from the sidelines, while being directly or indirectly involved, and still be a spectator at the same time? There is a simple answer and a more complicated answer. The simple answer is to let the child skill's shine through and be their  "cheerleader" through the bad and good games. The more complicated answer is to find a happy medium between not being at all involved and from being overbearing to the point of being rude and disturbing other parents from cheering on their own children.

I'd love to hear what you dedicated readers out there think about this topic. Please feel free to comment with any thoughts or feelings and why you feel that certain way. I can't wait to read what you readers have to say. Additionally, I would love to hear from you guys and how to get you more involved with this blog because without you readers,  I wouldn't be at the present moment in time writing this post. Thank you for spending time reading this blog and my hope is that I can get you to love sports even more. Have a great day and take care of yourself. Until later on. <3
